The CSA is a great value even if you miss a few shares, but you do have options! For the best CSA experience and the ease of the farmers, we encourage you minimize your use of these options
Veggie CSA Vacation Options
Reminder: once your food is harvested, it is your responsibility to collect. We cannot offer replacement shares if you just forget and miss pickup

other details: tell them to bring bags if you have a free choice pickup (summer only)

other details: We cannot hold a share once harvest begins. Double ups must be used by the end of the season.

no advance notice needed, just add your name on Switcheroo clipboard on the sign in table
Before packing your share, please ask if there are any crops we are low on—in order to guarentee that folks attending their scheduled pickup always recieve a full share, switcheroos sometimes need to skip crops in low supply.
Must go to another pickup within that week, a CSA week is Wed-Sat: Stick & Stone W 3-7, Press Bay Th 3-7, Salt Point F 4-6, Youth Farm Sat 10-1
Switcheroos are for occasional use only! If you are switching regularly please email to request a pickup site change.
PLEASE NOTE
FREE CHOICE MEMBERS: If you do not collect your share by the end of the CSA week (Saturday at 1pm) your share of our harvest will be donated that week and cannot be made up.
BOXED SHARE MEMBERS: If you do not collect your share by Friday at noon (6pm for CTB) your share of our harvest will be donated that week and cannot be made up.
We cannot offer early pickup at any location, please choose one of the options above
Swapping pickup locations is not possible for boxed shares (unless the switch is permanent for the season)

Finger Lakes Fruit Bowl
“Switcheroo” to another Pack-Your-Own Pickup - no advance notice needed. We cannot guarantee this option for fruit, but can often accommodate, just check in*
Hold your share and double up another week - you MUST email by Monday at 5pm to do this. We cannot hold a share once we have ordered fruit for you.
Have a friend or house-sitter pick up your share - no advance notice needed
Donate your share - This is the default, unclaimed produce is donated

Remembrance Farm Dairy
Have a friend or house-sitter pick up your share - no advance notice needed
“Switcheroo” to another Pickup - you must email by Monday 5pm to do this*
Hold your share and double up another week you must email by Monday 5pm to do this.
Pickup a makeup share at Remembrance Farm - email at least 1 day in advance to let us know you would like to do this. This is the only option for forgotten shares.

Have a friend or house-sitter pick up your share - no advance notice needed
Donate your bread - this is the default, all unclaimed bread is donated to farm crews or food pantries

No switcheroos, you must pickup at your chosen pickup site unless you have made particular arrangements with your side dish CSAs directly.
