csa handbook
As your farmers, we commit to growing good, nourishing food and bringing you a weekly share of the harvest. We’re glad you’re here!
As members, you have committed to support our farms through the entire winter season with the understanding that farming is a natural process in an increasingly unpredictable climate; yields and variety may vary season to season. We count on you to collect your shares and fulfill your financial agreement to the farms, regardless of what the growing season may bring.
Picking Up Your Share
all winter shares are hand-packed, farmer’s choice boxed shares
farm pickups

Stick and Stone Farm - Th 7am - 9pm*
Remembrance Farm - Th 7am - 9pm*

home delivery
Deliveries happen from 8am-4pm (sometimes a bit later)
If you have instructions for where to leave your box please email Molly.
Please return your boxes by leaving them outside each week.
Delivery times may change fluctuate due to route & weather, we cannot provide exact time estimates. Thank you for your patience!
get your box
self serve - just check your name off the list, grab your box and go!
VEGGIE SHARES are in a white box that says "Fresh Vegetables" in green
FRUIT SHARES are in a larger box with multicolor printing
unfold & return your boxes each week
Please, please do it! See how to video. Waxed CSA boxes are re-usable, not recyclable
Just drop off when you pickup your next box, or leave on your porch if getting delivery
freshest on thursday
While later pickup is available at many sites, Thursday is always freshest! Beware frozen veg at neighborhood sites and pickup as early as possible
if your box is missing…
Call (607-379-2866) or email Molly right away. We do pack just-in-case boxes.
The honor system works pretty wonderfully in this community, but boxes are occasionally taken, particularly in high-traffic business spaces that host pickups. We cannot offer refunds for food that has been harvested, packed and delivered, but you have options!
Missed Share Policy
If you just forget and miss a week, you may not get a replacement share.
We will hold up our end of the CSA by harvesting for you every week, it is your responsibility to collect your produce once it has been packed & delivered.
Have a friend or house-sitter pick up your share
no need to email Molly - a great way to introduce the CSA to a friend!
Donate your share
email Molly by Monday at 5pm and she’ll facilitate donation
Hold your share and double up another week
email Molly by Monday at 5pm of the week you will be away to do this
If you do not notify us not to harvest for you in advance, we cannot harvest double for you later
The above options apply to Full Plate Vegetable, FLX Fruit Bowl and Remembrance Dairy Shares only, click here to see Missed Share Options for Side Dish CSAs
