Why u-pick instead of in the share?
When we hear a lot of love for a crop but it is too labor intensive to harvest on a mass scale, the u-pick crates access without breaking the budget (ex: peas)
Why u-pick in addition to the share?
The food we harvest for your shares is meant to feed you week to week NOT for canning , freezing or preserving. If you want to can or preserve, the u-pick crops are there for you in unlimited quantity! (ex: tomatoes)
